Willmore Wilderness Horseback Adventures is family owned and operated. We have many years of experience and promise to give you the highest quality backcountry trip that you expect. Your guides, Russell and Lori, have over 18 years of experience with horses and wilderness adventures and are the previous operators of U Bar Trail Rides in Grande Cache.
Willmore Wilderness Horseback Adventures and their hired hands possess First Aid/CPR training, and are registered with STARS Air Ambulance. We are licensed, insured and bonded. Willmore Wilderness Horseback Adventures holds professional affiliations with the :

Our Commitment to the Environment
It is only in the wilderness that ecosystems exist relatively
unaffected by human activity, and where healthy populations
of many great animals still survive. As visitors to the
Willmore Wilderness Park, we can view the land, the water
and animals in much the same manner as the first travellers
to the area did some 5,000 - 10,000 years ago. As stewards
we all have an obligation to ensure this piece of wilderness
continues to remain healthy and wild and to be a sanctuary
for the mind and soul of many more generations to come.
As a tourism operator, Willmore Wilderness Horseback Adventures commits to operating
in a manner which will minimize the impact of our passing.
We understand that wildlands cannot take care of themselves,
that animals do not recognize park boundaries, and populations
are at risk. We pledge our active involvement in the continued
protection of not only the parks, but also to the surrounding
lands which are becoming even less wild, at an alarming
rate. |
